"In 1967-68 he present another serial piece in a twenty-eight page booklet on the «49 Three-Part Variations Using Three Different Kinds of Cubes», known as the «1,2,3, Piece». In a format of 63/4x14 inches, with the margins outlined in black, the artist rendered in pen and ink the various combinations of stacked cubes with open and closed sides, each having a numbered diagram and a caption on the opposite page."
