"Each of the eleven works in this exhibition was presented in a different city in Europe and the Americas. Coinceived in New York and financed by ever faithful Raymond Dirks, the trilingual catalogue functioned as a guide - and consequently the only means of access - to this global exhibition. It consisted of two parts: descriptions and documentation of the works; and specific information about the location and dates of the works for the travel-minded reader.
