“This is the first book with a cover illustration, a full-page photograph (...), this book contains thirty sets of parallel lines 2½ inches (63 mm.) long, horizzontaly aligned this time. Excepts for two sets, they are all placed in the same position on the page, either at the bootom right of the recto or at the bootom left of verso, therefore completely aligned. The lines of sets 28 and 29 however, are centered vertically on the page. Thoughout the book, at irregular intervals, eight words in bold type have been added to the bootom of some of the pages.” (Moritz Küng).
